Blake Bortles had a funny response to a question on Sunday about his Jacksonville Jaguars’ controversial 2-point conversion attempt.
The Jaguars were up 19 on the New York Jets in the final minute of the game and decided to go for two, but didn’t convert. There were only 25 seconds left in the game when they went for two, leading some to interpret the move as them running up the score.
Bortles was asked about it and humorously deflected the question.

Bortles on whether he was surprised on the 2 point conversion at the end – “I just work here”

Jags coach Doug Marrone gave his reasons after the game, but it’s hard to know whether to buy his reasons. Some think he has a vengeance against the Jets for hiring Todd Bowles instead of him.
Just don’t bother asking Bortles about it, because he only works here.
