Three contestants on “Jeopardy!” this week offended sports fans everywhere by being completely oblivious about Bo Jackson. But Jackson himself is being a little more understanding.
The retired sports great Jackson reacted in a tweet to the viral clip from the popular quiz show where players had zero clue who he was (video here).
“I just wanted to let y’all know that I forgive each one of them,” wrote Jackson along with some laughing-face emojis.

The category in question was “Multi-Sport Athletes,” so even before the clue was revealed, many would have Jackson in mind already. As written, the clue itself also had several giveaways that Jackson was the correct response.
Sports questions are often hit-or-miss on “Jeopardy!” But this isn’t the first time that Jackson has had to give a history lesson about his sports career.
