Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner is reportedly being investigated for allegedly assaulting the father of a woman he has a child with.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police were called to a home in Pomona, Calif., Tuesday night to respond to an incident in which Browner is accused of attacking his baby mama’s father. Here are some more details:
Law enforcement sources tell us … the alleged victim claims he had been arguing with Browner when the NFL star became violent and attacked him in the driveway.
We’re told Browner — a 2-time Super Bowl champ — left the scene in his white Bentley before cops arrived.
The Pomona PD confirms the alleged victim filed a police report and complained about an injury to his hand.
The incident is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed.
Browner returned to the Seahawks this offseason after a horrendous year with the New Orleans Saints. We caught a glimpse of his temper when he blew up on a reporter after a loss for asking about an embarrassing play. As usual, the NFL will conduct its own investigation into the allegations and determine if disciplinary action is warranted.
