Brandon Lloyd starring in zombie movie with Daniel Baldwin

Brandon-Lloyd-After-EffectThe New England Patriots have a receiving corps has looked relatively incompetent through the first two weeks of the season. With Danny Amendola possibly out for several more weeks, they could certainly use a veteran like Brandon Lloyd who has experience in their offensive system. If Lloyd hadn’t turned his attention from football to acting, adding him might be a possibility.

Masshole Sports pointed out on Monday that Lloyd recently starred in a zombie movie called “After Effect” that will be released on Oct. 8. The film, which also features Daniel Baldwin, was so good it bypassed the movie theaters and is going straight to DVD. Just kidding, that’s not how it works.

Lloyd plays Sgt. Chuck Lloyd in the movie. He is the officer you see in front in the clip above. Here is the description of the future award-winning film from IMDB.com:

“When college students sign up for what seems a simple paid research study, they soon realize their lives are in danger. Unfortunately they’ve unknowingly volunteered their bodies as human collateral in an ongoing U.S. Military experiment.”

That has Brandon Lloyd written all over it. The 32-year-old has reportedly received interest from more than a handful of teams since being released by the Patriots over the offseason, but it appears he has moved on. Be sure to run out and purchase “After Effect” on Oct. 8 to find out if Lloyd is suited for cinema.
