Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs won the battle of undefeated AFC West teams on Sunday, with his wife adding some color to the evening with a subtle troll job.
The Chiefs improved to 4-0 in the 2026 NFL season after defeating the previously undefeated Las Vegas Raiders, 30-27, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Following the win, Brittany Mahomes hopped on social media to celebrate the win by also seemingly throwing shade at Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak.
“We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,” Mrs. Mahomes wrote as a caption for an Instagram post that showed her game-day poses at Allegiant Stadium.
For context, Kubiak was interviewed at the end of the second quarter, with the Raiders leading by only three points. Asked for his thoughts on Las Vegas coughing up only 17 rushing yards in the first half, Kubiak said, “Gotta be better, but you know what? We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game,” Kubiak told Tracy Wolfson of CBS.
Those words apparently reached Mahomes’ better half, and she made sure to let them bite Kubiak back after yet another Kansas City win.
After both teams failed to score in the third quarter, the Chiefs grabbed the lead with a Tyquan Thornton touchdown with 14:50 left in the fourth period. The Raiders then scored two field goals to grab the lead and stretch it before Kenneth Walker found the end zone twice to give the Chiefs the lead for good.
Now, the Chiefs will enjoy a long break with a bye in Week 5 before returning to action in Week 6 for a meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
