Brandon Marshall shows support for Ryan Fitzpatrick with funny shirt
Ryan Fitzpatrick’s exile as starting quarterback of the New York Jets lasted less than a full half of football, and his favorite target seems just fine with that.
On Wednesday, wide receiver Brandon Marshall spoke to the media while wearing a shirt that read “Fitz Magic 2.0.”

We can’t be certain, but it’s probably safe to assume that is a reference to what will now be Fitzpatrick’s second go-around as starting quarterback of the Jets this season. The 33-year-old had one of his best performances of the season on Sunday after Geno Smith left with a knee injury, completing 9 of 14 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.
Marshall has always been a big supporter of Fitzpatrick, so the wardrobe choice is hardly a surprise. As for how Fitz Magic 2.0 will turn out, Jets fans can only hope the remarks Fitzpatrick made last weekend indicate he is ready to revert to his 2015 form.
