The Denver Broncos reportedly fear that wide receiver Demaryius Thomas could miss some time due to a hip injury.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Thomas underwent an MRI on Friday which is being sent out for a second opinion. That opinion could determine whether or not the hip injury could keep him out for a bit of time.
It’s unclear how much time the Broncos fear Thomas could miss. He suffered the injury during the first quarter of Denver’s season opener against Carolina on Thursday night. It didn’t stop him from picking up 48 yards on four catches.

No Thomas would be bad news for Trevor Siemian, who will want all the weapons he can get as he settles in as the team’s starter, even if he’s been assured that the job is his for the foreseeable future.
