Report: Browns fire offensive coordinator Todd Haley
It initially looked like the Cleveland Browns were siding with offensive coordinator Todd Haley when they fired head coach Hue Jackson on Monday, but it has now become clear that the team is cleaning house.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Browns have decided to part ways with Haley as well.

Reports from over the weekend indicated that there was legitimate dysfunction within the Browns’ coaching staff and it centered on the relationship between Jackson and Haley. Following a tough loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, Jackson seemingly called out Haley when he said he’s not going to stand by and watch the team continue to struggle on offense.
Though they have shown some signs of improvement this season, the Browns are clearly looking for a fresh start with their coaching staff. General manager John Dorsey believes Baker Mayfield can become the leader of the franchise, and he wants a coaching staff in place that will help the rookie get there. Interestingly enough, rumors are already swirling that Mayfield’s college coach will be a candidate for the head coaching job in Cleveland.
