Shedeur Sanders officially has a new OC.
The Cleveland Browns are hiring Travis Switzer as their new offensive coordinator, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Monday. Switzer will be a centerpiece of Cleveland’s staff under newly-hired head coach Todd Monken.
Only 33 years old, Switzer spent the last nine seasons in a variety of roles for the Baltimore Ravens. He began as an administrative/performance assistant for the Ravens in 2017 and worked his way up the ladder, eventually serving as an offensive quality control coach and (most recently for the last two seasons) as the run game coordinator.
That also made Switzer plenty familiar with Monken. The 59-year-old Monken had been the offensive coordinator for Baltimore since 2023 and got plenty of experience with Switzer on his staff.
After going a miserable 5-12 in 2025, Cleveland fired head coach Kevin Stefanski and offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Now they have decided on Monken and Switzer as the respective successors for those two coaches.
Switzer will have some very interesting pieces to work with on offense next season, including Sanders, running back Quinshon Judkins, and tight end Harold Fannin Jr. To the Sanders point, he recently received a notable message from Monken and is obviously now set to work closely with Switzer as well.
