Bryan Stork’s trade to the Washington Redskins is off after a failed physical.
While it is unclear what led to the failed physical, the center — who has an extensive history of head injuries and missed eight games in 2015 — will not report to Washington, and the trade is off.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick wasn’t sure what would happen next, but they would reassess the situation.

Considering Stork was set to be released by the Patriots before the trade and was also poised to retire even after it, it seems unlikely that he’ll be long for the New England roster, and possibly the league as a whole.
