Cam Newton interview interrupted by teammate yelling ‘MVP!’ (Video)

The Panthers improved their record to 13-0 on Sunday thanks to a 38-0 beat down of the Falcons. With each victory Carolina adds, the case for Cam Newton to be this season’s NFL MVP gets stronger.

Newton is making playing quarterback in the NFL look much easier than it really is this season and that continued against the Falcons. Newton completed 15-of-21 passes for 256 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. That (plus the fact that he’s Cam Newton) got him an interview after the game with Pam Oliver.

During the interview, Newton was interrupted as he was answering a question by a teammate who let out a “wooooo” followed by a chant of “MVP! MVP!” The reaction by Oliver and Newton is fantastic. Take a look.

It’s obvious those who share the locker room with him think Cam Newton should be the MVP. The more important ones to sway are those who have a vote for the award. Even if the Panthers don’t finish the season undefeated, you would have a hard time arguing they would have atleast 13 wins without him.
