Cam Newton responds to Von Miller, says they will settle it on field
The social media exchange between Cam Newton and Von Miller took another turn on Thursday, with Cam responding to Miller’s latest jab.
A few days ago, Newton posted a photo on Instagram of him throwing a ball in water polo:
Miller, who had six tackles and 2.5 sacks in the Broncos’ win over Newton’s Panthers in the Super Bowl, responded by posting a Photoshopped version of Cam’s picture that shows the linebacker sacking Newton once again:
And that brings us to Thursday. Newton posted a screenshot on Instagram of Miller’s post along with a caption. In his caption, Newton said his team would be out for revenge on Sept. 8, which is when the Broncos and Panthers will rematch in the 2016 NFL season opener.
I’m not really sure how Cam expects anyone to be able to read his messages with all those odd characters, but that’s besides the point. As if he weren’t already thinking about the Super Bowl loss enough this offseason, now he has Miller reminding him constantly. You would think that Miller would be too busy in dance practice for this sort of thing, but I guess not.
