The Philadelphia Eagles are trying to somehow salvage their season with a tough game upcoming against the Los Angeles Rams, and the last thing they need is an injury to their starting quarterback.
On Wednesday, Eagles coach Doug Pederson revealed that Carson Wentz would not be practicing because of back spasms he has been experiencing. Pederson is not willing to commit to Wentz playing on Sunday night.
Doug said Carson Wentz won't practice today. Having back spasms. Asked if he's confident he'll play Sunday said, "We'll see."

The Eagles are 6-7 following a loss to the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys. Wentz has looked slow to recover from his torn ACL at times this year, but he completed 69 percent of his passes and threw for 228 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions against a tough Dallas defense. He may finally be rounding back into form, so losing him would be yet another obstacle for the Eagles to overcome.
Fortunately, the Eagles don’t play until Sunday night. Wentz’s back injury will be one to monitor, but he has plenty of time to rest before Week 15.
