Case Keenum stays in game despite concussion
Case Keenum remained in Sunday’s Rams-Ravens game despite suffering what was later determined to be a concussion.
The St. Louis Rams quarterback was obviously disoriented after taking a major hit with just over a minute remaining in the game:

Though he was exhibiting obvious concussion signs on the field, Keenum remained in the game. Two snaps later he was hit from behind and lost a fumble, which gave the ball and essentially the game to Baltimore. He was later confirmed to have a concussion.
Got word in locker room Rams QB Case Keenum has been diagnosed with a concussion.

The NFL has given the power to ATCs (independent certified athletic trainers) to pull players off the field to be checked for concussions, but the person working this game obviously missed this one. With the way he looked, Keenum should have been checked for a concussion. We saw something similar happen on this crucial play during last week’s Patriots-Giants game.
