Case Keenum named starting QB for Rams
The St. Louis Rams struggled with inconsistent play at quarterback last season, but they are not planning to bring another player in to seize the starting job.
On Monday, Rams general manager Les Snead said Case Keenum will be the team’s starting quarterback in 2016.

That probably isn’t going to make the Rams’ new — and old — fans in Los Angeles happy.
Keenum appeared in six games with the Rams in 2015, completing 60.8 percent of his passes and throwing four touchdowns compared to just one interception. He was also at the center of a concussion controversy when he remained in a game against the Ravens while clearly demonstrating symptoms consistent with a head injury.
Rams fans were likely holding out hope that a future Hall of Famer would be their quarterback in 2016 thanks to some rumors, but that never came to fruition. For now, it looks like they’ll have to put their faith in Keenum.
