Browns’ Chad Thomas has movement in extremities after scary practice injury
The Cleveland Browns got a hint of good news after a frightening practice injury on Monday morning.
Reserve defensive lineman Chad Thomas had to be immobilized on a stretcher and carted off after suffering a significant injury during Monday’s practice. The Browns announced that he had a neck injury, but had feeling and movement in his extremities.

Browns DE Chad Thomas left practice with a neck injury. Was immobilized out of caution. Has feeling in movement in all extremities. Taken to University Hospitals for further evaluation and testing.

Hopefully the positive early signs suggest a full recovery. Thomas, a third-round draft pick in 2018, appeared in four games for the Browns last season.
