Chargers OT Russell Okung could miss all of training camp with medical issue

The Los Angeles Chargers have a potentially serious issue on their hands with Russell Okung.
The offensive tackle missed all of minicamp due to an undisclosed injury. General manager Tom Telesco addressed the matter on Wednesday and said Okung could miss all of training camp.
Per Tom Telesco, Russell Okung started dealing with a "pretty serious medical issue" in early June. He's "doing better" and getting "great care." Could miss all of training camp. Okung will provide more details at tomorrow's opening practice #Chargers

Okung has remained active on his social media channels despite the medical issue he is facing but has not disclosed any information. The 30-year-old left tackle is entering the third season of a four-year deal with the Chargers. He has played in 15 regular season games each of the last two years and is set to make $13.4 million this season.
Rookie Trey Pipkins worked at left tackle during minicamp and could get some more looks there while Okung is out. Brant Weiss is also listed on the Chargers’ depth chart at the position.
