The Pro Bowl is a good opportunity for players who wouldn’t normally rub elbows to join together and hang out — and can even serve as a recruitment opportunity.
That’s what Denver Broncos defensive back Chris Harris seemed to do with Baltimore Ravens safety Eric Weddle, with the two teaming up as part of the AFC’s victory on Sunday. Both have played in the Pro Bowl before, and this was their third time on the same team — all of them victories. That fact wasn’t lost on either of them.

The emoji is a pretty clear indication that Harris thinks there’s something to their partnership. Weddle has a year left on his deal with the Ravens and had previously indicated he’d retire if they didn’t bring him back, but he’s softened on that stance recently and left the door open to playing on with another team.
