CJ Mosley had what appeared would be a game-changing play to give the Baltimore Ravens the lead against Washington on Sunday, but a funny thing happened on his way to the end zone.
Mosley intercepted Kirk Cousins on a 2nd-and-8 situation from the Washington 3 in the third quarter. He picked off the pass at the 13 and tried to run it into the end zone, but he lost control of the ball as he dived for the touchdown. The ball went out of bounds before the goal line, resulting in a touchback.

The unfortunate turn of events took away what could have gone for a touchdown to put Baltimore up 16-13 on Washington, and instead gave Washington effectively a 17-yard gain and fresh set of downs. What a play.
