CJ Stroud to miss second game for Texans?
The Houston Texans could be without quarterback CJ Stroud for the second straight game.
Stroud was knocked out of the Texans’ 30-6 loss at the New York Jets in Week 14 with a concussion. The rookie quarterback missed the team’s Week 15 game against the Tenneessee Titans, which Houston came back to win.
KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson reported on Tuesday that Stroud is likely to miss a second game. Stroud reportedly is still experiencing concussion symptoms and not expected to practice on Wednesday.

Houston may be motivated to play it safely with Stroud, especially after the team won with Case Keenum starting in Week 15. Keenum reportedly would be expected to start in Week 16 if Stroud does not play.
The Texans also signed quarterback Tim Boyle on Tuesday. He would be a third quarterback behind Stroud and Davis Mills, who would likely serve as a backup for the second straight week.
Houston is part of a 3-way tie for first place in the AFC South along with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts. The Texans host the Browns in Week 16 on Sunday.
