Clay Matthews still knows exactly how to please Green Bay Packers fans.
Matthews was one of several Packers legends who were on the stage to start the 2025 NFL Draft, which was being held in Green Bay, Wisc. Matthews grabbed the microphone and spoke to the fans in attendance. He claimed that he had been given an important message from the president to communicate with all 32 NFL teams.
“I just got off the phone with the president — Donald Trump. He asked me to pass the message along to all 32 NFL franchises. It says, ‘my fellow Americans, the Bears still suck!'” Matthews shouted.

Matthews got a huge applause from the fans in attendance after delivering that line.
The Bears are one of the Packers’ three division opponents in the NFC North. They are their biggest rival though, and Matthews knows it. Aaron Rodgers has known it too and was always proud of his dominance over Chicago.
