Colleen Crowley on Johnny Manziel incident: ‘It was just an argument’

Colleen Crowley, the girlfriend of Johnny Manziel, commented on the incident that led to the two getting pulled over by police for a domestic argument on the side of a road earlier this week.

Here is the note Crowley posted on Instagram about what happened between her and Manziel:

Colleen Crowley comment

“J & I are good. I appreciate the people who stopped to check on us and call the police, I could see how it may have looked,” Crowley wrote. “Anytime anyone sees a guy and a girl arguing on the side of a road they should definitely stop, you never know what that could be. Fortunately it was just an argument, it was private, and we are all good!”

Manziel and Crowley reportedly admitted to police to drinking. They were in an argument and Manziel reportedly stopped his car on two occasions. Crowley told police she wanted to go back to Texas and she was trying to jump out of the moving car. The only sign of injury was a mark on her body, which they say came from Manziel trying to prevent her from jumping out of the vehicle.

The entire incident does not reflect well on Manziel, especially when you consider that he was drinking six months after leaving rehab. It also is a bad sign about his relationship with Crowley if they were fighting to the point that two witnesses called police.
