Report: Dallas police have surveillance video in Johnny Manziel investigation
The Dallas Police Department has obtained surveillance video in their ongoing Johnny Manziel investigation.
The department issued a statement saying that their investigation is ongoing and they are in the process of gathering evidence. ESPN’s Pat McManamon cited a source saying that surveillance video has been obtained from the hotel where the alleged assault is said to have begun.
That video reportedly includes the encounter with the valet that Colleen Crowley spoke of in her affidavit. Investigators have also received access to Crowley’s medical records after she alleged that Manziel ruptured her eardrum.
ESPN also cites the Dallas Morning News, who say that the investigation could be concluded as early as the end of next week. They also cite WFAA in Dallas as saying that a grand jury may end up being involved.
The Browns are done with Manziel, and his football career is in serious jeopardy. That said, he could be facing far more serious consequences in the weeks and months to come.
