Report: Dalvin Cook not expected to play in Week 5
Dalvin Cook is not expected to play in the Minnesota Vikings’ Week 5 game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday because of his hamstring, according to a report.
Cook has officially been listed as questionable on the injury report because of his hamstring and was expected to be a game-time decision. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says barring a big turnaround, the Vikings are not expecting the running back to be available.
The #Vikings are not expecting RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) to play Sunday vs. the #Eagles, sources say. It would take an impressive turnaround for him to be on the field.

Cook injured his hamstring in overtime of the team’s Week 2 tie with the Packers. He missed the team’s next game but then played against the Rams in Week 4 and re-aggravated the injury.
Cook has 98 yards on 36 carries this season, with nine catches for 107 yards.
