The Arizona Cardinals could be without David Johnson for a lengthy amount of time after the star running back suffered a wrist injury on Sunday.
Johnson took a big hit against the Detroit Lions and was set to undergo an MRI on Monday. According to multiple reports, he could miss anywhere from two weeks to several months.

As @mortreport has said since Sunday, it could be 2-4 weeks for David Johnson, 3-4 months still possible. Depends on doctor recommendations.

An initial report on Sunday said Johnson suffered only a sprain and might not even miss a game, but it sounds like the injury is far more serious than that.
Johnson was slow to get up after he took a big hit inside the 5-yard line, but he walked off the field under his own power. He returned for the first play of Arizona’s next offensive series and fumbled on his first carry.
The Cardinals couldn’t really ask for worse news, as Johnson is right up there with Le’Veon Bell in terms of being the focal point of his team’s offense. Losing him would make life extremely difficult.
