DeAndre Hopkins likely to miss first game of NFL career
DeAndre Hopkins’ streak of 79 consecutive games will likely come to an end this weekend.
Since being drafted No. 27 overall in the 2013 draft, Hopkins has started each and every game of his NFL career. It appears Hopkins will miss his first game, the Texans’ season finale against the Colts, due to a calf injury.
DeAndre Hopkins (calf injury) did not practice today and is not expected to play Sunday. He'd be missing the first game of his NFL career after playing in 79 consecutive.

In 15 games this season, Hopkins is fifth in the NFL in receptions (96), second in receiving yards (1,378), and first in receiving touchdowns (13). As John McClain of The Houston Chronicle points out, Hopkins essentially has been the passing game for the Texans this season.
Yet another blow to Texans. DeAndre Hopkins (calf) to miss the first game of his five year career. Playing with three QBs had 96 catches for 1,378 yards and 13 TDs. No. 2 receiver? RB Lamar Miller with 36 catches.
