Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray and his girlfriend Heidi Mueller are engaged.
Mueller, a 32-year-old actress and the mother of Murray’s 1-year-old daughter, made the announcement on Monday by posting a photo of her flashing a ring on Instagram.
“We’re ENGAGED!!!” she wrote.
Mueller and Murray have dealt with some serious drama over the past month or so after one of Murray’s former Oklahoma teammates, Brennan Clay, accused the Pro Bowler of having an affair with his wife. At first it seemed like Murray’s relationship with Mueller was unaffected by the rumors, but then there was a report that Murray’s absence from a practice last month had something to do with him and Mueller splitting.
The two have obviously smoothed things over and decided to take their relationship to the next level.
While Clay initially said he had proof that Murray slept with his wife and even shared a dirty text message that he claims was exchanged between the two, he later apologized and admitted he jumped to conclusions without knowing the facts. You can read more about Clay’s wife, Gina D’Agostini, here.
