Dez Bryant Says He Has Been Working on Stealing Victor Cruz’s TD Dance
The Cowboys may have suffered at heartbreaking loss at home to the Giants on Sunday night, but at least somebody in Dallas got something out of it. Dez Bryant has decided he wants to be more like Victor Cruz. He tried that on Sunday, not only by scoring a 50-yard touchdown but also by busting out Cruz’s end zone celebration: the salsa dance.
“Man, I practiced it the whole week, I’m not going to lie,” Bryant said after the loss according to ESPNDallas.com. “You can look at it both ways. I think I’m a little bit more looser than Victor Cruz, so I might just have to steal his dance. I might turn it into a regular.”
Having emerged as one of the best receivers in the NFL as of late, Cruz has perfected the dance. Bryant must be fairly agile if he can impersonate Michael Vick in practice, so perhaps there is hope for him as a salsa dancer. However, the celebration is far more legit when your team is on the comeback and not the choke side of the fourth quarter.
H/T to NBC Dallas for passing the story along.
