The Kansas City Chiefs are suddenly in need of a top wide receiver after they traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins, but it doesn’t sound like DK Metcalf has any interest in filling that role for them.
Shortly after the blockbuster Hill trade was completed, a Chiefs fan tweeted at Metcalf and told the Seattle Seahawks star “the door is open in kc!” Metcalf had a funny response.

Metcalf is still under contract with the Seahawks, so he wouldn’t have a choice if they wanted to send him to Kansas City. Some have wondered if Metcalf will be traded now that Seattle is rebuilding in the post-Russell Wilson era. Metcalf is entering the final season of his rookie contract, but we wouldn’t count on him being moved.
There have been a number of suggestions already for how the Chiefs should fill the void left by the Hill trade. Lamar Jackson also had a great way of shooting one down on Twitter.
