
The Miami Dolphins beat the Cincinnati Bengals 22-20 on Thursday night on a walk-off safety by Cameron Wake. Though officials reviewed the final play and confirmed the original call, NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock felt there was a strong possibility that it could be overturned because the ball may have been out of the end zone when Andy Dalton was tackled.
As this frame shows, the ball was at the goal-line plane when Dalton was just being hit. Safety was the correct call:

That was only the third time an NFL game ended on a safety in overtime. And the other interesting aspect? The over-under line for the game was 42.5 or 43 at most houses. Those wiseguys sure are sharp.
