Oakland Raiders tackle Donald Penn is reportedly a suspect in a domestic violence incident.
According to TMZ, police were called to Penn’s Los Angeles home on Sunday night, though the lineman had already left by the time they arrived. Police were told that Penn had slapped his wife on the rear, and she objected, leading to an argument.
After the argument, Penn allegedly poured a drink over his wife’s head and grabbed her by the wrist. Police are investigating the claims.

Penn and his wife have had their share of issues in the past. Given the NFL’s stance against domestic violence, this could turn out to be a very important development depending on what police find. A league investigation seems likely to follow.
