Doug Baldwin in danger of missing Monday night’s game against Vikings
Doug Baldwin recently said he is finally over the knee issue that has plagued him for most of the 2018 season, but the Seattle Seahawks receiver is now dealing with a groin injury that has him looking like a long shot to play on Monday night.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Saturday that Baldwin is “barely making it through the week” and will be a true game-time decision against the Minnesota Vikings. One source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he or she doubts Baldwin will play but wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to gut it out.
Seahawks’ WR Doug Baldwin, who did not practice this week due to a groin injury, is listed as questionable for tonight’s game vs Vikings. Asked if Baldwin would play tonight, one source said: “I wouldn’t think so, but you never know with Doug. I’m sure he will try.”

The timing is certainly disappointing after what Baldwin recently said about his knee troubles. With the Seahawks 7-5 and looking to make a playoff push, a win over the Vikings — another team fighting for a wild card spot — would be huge. They could use all hands on deck.
Baldwin is having a down season after his previous three were his three best as a pro. He has just 37 catches for 388 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games. The nagging injuries have a lot to do with that.
