Doug Martin dolls go on clearance after he is not franchise tagged
The deadline for franchise tagging players has come and gone, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers chose not to use theirs on running back Doug Martin. At least one department store in the Tampa area seems to believe that means Martin is done with the Bucs.
As Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times noted Tuesday, a Target store in Tampa put a bunch of Martin dolls (can’t tell if they’re bobbleheads) on clearance this week.

The Bucs could still very well sign Martin. Should that happen, we’ll probably see the same type of situation we saw with Colin Kaepernick’s merchandise recently.
