Report: Drew Brees unsure if he will play against Panthers
Drew Brees has been working hard this week to rehab his injured shoulder, but the New Orleans Saints quarterback remains unsure if he will be able to play on Sunday.
ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that Brees has been rehabbing with the goal of playing against the Carolina Panthers but no decision has been made.
I'm told @drewbrees still doesn't know if he can play Sunday b/c rotator cuff injury, but he's working hard to get to that point.

It’s unclear at this point how serious of an injury Brees is dealing with. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network initially reported that the 36-year-old could miss several weeks, and he stuck by that report and called the rotator cuff bruise a “serious” injury. Brees has said that he is confident he will play against the Panthers.
If you have not seen the play where Brees was injured against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend, you can watch it here.
In the event that Brees does play, it seems like a safe bet to assume he will be at less than 100 percent. That puts the Saints in an incredibly tough spot heading on the road within the division after losing their first two games.
