Report: Eagles have made both Ryan Mathews, DeMarco Murray available
The Philadelphia Eagles’ purge of all things Chip Kelly looks as though it may be set to continue.
In addition to DeMarco Murray, fellow running back Ryan Mathews is also reportedly available via trade, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
#Eagles have made it known that it's not just DeMarco Murray who is available, but also Ryan Mathews, as well, for the right price.

Mathews and Murray were both big Kelly acquisitions, and we’ve known that Murray was available given his contract and lack of production, but it’s a bit of a surprise to see Mathews on the block. Unlike Murray, he wasn’t downright bad for the Eagles in 2015. There also haven’t been any rumblings of him being unhappy, also unlike Murray. Perhaps he just doesn’t fit the new system.
Any trade involving Murray or Mathews would continue a trend of cutting Kelly’s deadwood – a trend which started Monday as the Eagles moved to offload Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell.
