Earl Thomas still seems to be open to a future with the Seattle Seahawks despite his holdout.
Thomas had five tackles and an interception during Seattle’s 27-24 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. He played well despite missing all of the preseason due to a contract dispute that included an ultimatum.
After the game, Thomas said he was “glad” he came back to the team and that he wants to be with Seattle if they want him.
Earl Thomas said he and his agent discussed ending hold out: “We understood that I had a lot of money on the line, I just couldn’t throw it away. So basically I decided to come back. I’m glad I did.” Said he still wants to be with Seattle “if they want me.”

Thomas is still under contract for $8.5 million this season. He has demanded one of two things from the Seahawks: pay me or trade me. They didn’t trade him, but he’s still open to being paid by them.
