Ed Oliver allowed to participate in Bills team activities after arrest
The Buffalo Bills are taking a more relaxed approach to defensive lineman Ed Oliver after his recent arrest.
Oliver was arrested over the weekend and charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a weapon. Despite this, the Bills are still allowing him to take part in their virtual offseason program.
#Bills DL Ed Oliver, who was arrested Saturday night in his hometown of Houston on misdemeanor DWI and weapons charges, is still taking part in the team’s virtual offseason program, per league source. Team will let the legal process play out with the former No. 9 overall pick.

This approach is different from the one the New York Giants are taking with Deandre Baker, who is facing very serious charges in Florida.
Oliver is coming off a solid rookie season that saw him collect five sacks for the Bills. The team will certainly be hoping that the 22-year-old lineman will put this behind him quickly.
