Sometimes those Wikipedia editors have no chill.
Emmanuel Sanders was drilled by Rodney McLeod while diving for a pass attempt in Sunday’s Rams-Broncos game. Sanders was down after the big hit and left the game with a possible concussion, which was later confirmed.
Before understanding the severity of the hit and injury suffered by Sanders, some jokesters thought it would be funny to go edit the wide receiver’s page and change it to list him as dead. The date of death was changed to Nov. 16 and the place of death was St. Louis. It’s all fun and games until you realize Sanders was seriously hurt on the play.
Like we’ve seen many times before, Wikipedia updates can be funny, but sometimes they’re taken way too far.
