Audio from the 911 call Tiffany Thompson made on Friday morning to report domestic violence allegations against her boyfriend Ezekiel Elliott has been released.
In the recording, Thompson is remarkably calm and says she has been beaten up by Elliott for the past five days.
Thompson shared photos on Instagram Friday of bruising on her body. She also captioned her post by describing the mental and physical abuse she says she was enduring.
Thompson accused Elliott of assaulting her Friday morning in the parking lot in Columbus. Elliott denied the allegation, while four witnesses reportedly say they did not see an assault occur. Police did not arrest Elliott due to the conflict of information.
Thompson did have redness and a pain in her wrist, but Elliott said that was due to a bar fight she had been in.
Elliott’s father Stacy has issued a statement in which he called the allegations “completely false.”
“The reported allegations and Internet postings regarding our son are completely false. Ezekiel has done nothing wrong. The police have investigated this matter and eyewitnesses have verified the lack of any wrongdoing. The actual evidence in this matter clearly indicates what the real motivation was behind the police being called. We are confident that when the truth comes to light it will reveal the falsity of these claims. Ezekiel has been fully cooperative with the police and will continue to do so—along with cooperating with the NFL—moving forward.”
Thompson described Elliott as her former live-in boyfriend, while Elliott said they did not live together.
The Cowboys believe Elliott’s story, which is that Thompson threatened to “ruin” him if he broke up with her. Elliott reportedly has text messages that would exonerate him.
