Kyle Pitts drew attention for a tweet he sent on Thursday. Now he is trying to explain his way out of it.
Earlier on Thursday, Pitts sent a very intriguing tweet.
Pitts said, “It’s about to get scary in Atlanta.”

He later deleted the tweet, but most people thought he was hinting that Deshaun Watson was headed to the Falcons.
However, Pitts now says that is not the case.
Pitts sent a followup tweet on Thursday saying that he was referring to the team’s signing of Casey Hayward, not an impending trade of Watson.
This is what I was talking about! My dawg back home 🤟🏾 @show_case29 https://t.co/zEGI3g1TXH

Hmm, if that’s what Pitts was talking about, then why did he delete his tweet? There wouldn’t have been a reason to delete a tweet about Hayward. That’s why many people are not buying Pitts’ explanation.
Pitts and Watson also happen to share the same agent, which is another reason why many people thought the tight end was talking about Watson with his since-deleted tweet.
