Frank Gore has not missed a game since 2010, but that incredible streak is expected to come to an end for the veteran running back in Week 16.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Gore is unlikely to play again this season after suffering a sprained foot during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Gore had previously appeared in 122 consecutive games. Considering he is 35, you can’t say enough about how amazing that steak is.
While most running backs show serious signs of decline after they turn 30, Gore has continued to produce consistently. His foot injury is a tough way to end 2018, but he had previously said that he plans to continue playing beyond this season. It would be unwise to doubt him at this point.
