Frank Gore apparently is not a certainty to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles, contrary to what was reported over the weekend.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says Gore has reconsidered his pending three-year contract with the Eagles. Rapoport also says to keep an eye on the Colts for a potential deal with the running back.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter says the Eagles are now in the market for other running backs just in case. He also says both the Colts and Eagles were fighting for Gore over the weekend, and now the former Niners back is considering San Francisco.
Contracts cannot officially be signed until Tuesday, so we will not know Gore’s decision until then at the earliest.
