George Kittle got Venmo requests from angry fantasy owners after huge game
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was unexpectedly responsible for making and breaking some fantasy football seasons two weeks ago, and those who were on the wrong end of his monster game want to be reimbursed.
During an appearance on the “RapSheet and Friends” podcast with Ian Rapoport of NFL Network this week, Kittle spoke about going off for 210 yards and a touchdown in what was the first week of the fantasy playoffs for many people. He said he got Venmo requests for thousands of dollars from people who wanted to be compensated for him knocking them out of their leagues.
“I’ve gotten Venmo requests from people for knocking them out of their fantasy league. … I got requests for like $5000 from multiple people after the Denver game. I denied those.” — #49ers TE George Kittle on The RapSheet and Friends podcast. Comedy. https://t.co/q481NaTFud

We have seen NFL players rip fantasy football owners on multiple occasions in the past, but Kittle had to have gotten a charge out of that.
While he has had an excellent season and plenty of weeks where he contributed to fantasy teams winning and losing, the game he had against the Broncos was massive by any player’s standards. Getting knocked out of the playoffs because Kittle scored 30 or so points on you has to sting.
