Report: Giants got low-ball offer for Odell Beckham after pizza video
The New York Giants sound unlikely to trade Odell Beckham Jr. unless they receive an offer they deem too juicy to pass up, and the circumstances surrounding the star receiver’s offseason may make a deal even less likely.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Giants received their first formal trade offer for Beckham after the now-infamous video surfaced earlier this offseason that may have shown Beckham in the presence of drugs. The offer was “real low,” and the Giants turned it away.

In the video, Beckham was shown laying on a bed beside a woman who appeared to be cutting up a powdery substance with a credit card. Beckham hinted on social media that the video is old, but the woman later provided a timestamp proving it was recent.
While Giants owner John Mara recently warned Beckham about his off-field behavior, the video wasn’t alarming enough for the team to trade OBJ away for pennies on the dollar. In fact, their asking price is said to be so high that there is virtually no chance any team is going to pay it.
