Heads are rolling after the Buffalo Bills’ 0-2 start, but it’s offensive coordinator Greg Roman who is taking the fall.
Roman was fired after the Bills’ 37-31 loss to the New York Jets on Thursday night, with Anthony Lynn promoted to the role.

This seems very misaimed. Yes, the Bills’ offense was terrible in Week 1, but they came up with 31 points against the Jets. It was Rob Ryan’s defense that gave up 493 yards of total offense to Ryan Fitzpatrick’s offense. Obviously, Rob Ryan isn’t going to be fired by his brother after two games, but from Rex Ryan’s point of view, firing Roman seems like a last-ditch attempt to save his own back with the coach already under pressure and the team staring at a possible 0-4 start with Arizona and New England due up next on the schedule.
