Green Bay Packers rookie safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix learned a valuable lesson during Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots — Rob Gronkowski is a beast.
On one particular play, Gronkowski shook off two Packers defenders before coming face-to-face with Clinton-Dix. The former Alabama star thought he was in position to put a big hit on Gronk, but he was wrong. Clinton-Dix tweeted on Monday night that he was still paying for the tackle attempt.
I will never try and hit @RobGronkowski up high again. #RESPECT #sore

Gronkowski bounced off Clinton-Dix and nearly got into the end zone, but Clay Matthews came and dragged him down at about the 2-yard line.

Gronk has made a living out of tossing defenders aside this season, most notably this Chicago Bears defensive back a few weeks ago. While Patriots fans shudder at the thought of defenders diving at Gronk’s knees, there really is no other way to bring him to the ground.
