Hue Jackson has funny advice for DeShone Kizer ahead of Week 1
Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson is giving DeShone Kizer the pep talk of his life prior to his first career NFL start … kind of.
On Thursday, Jackson shared the funny advice he gave his rookie starting quarterback ahead of the Browns’ season-opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, per Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan.

Kizer, 21, completed 60.7 percent of his passes in his two years playing for Notre Dame, but the NFL will be a whole new animal. Even Jackson himself has admitted Kizer will need some time to adapt. Still, the talented second-rounder has shown marked improvement since the draft, so perhaps heeding Jackson’s advice and focusing on the basics could do him a world of good.
