Hue Jackson tells Kenny Britt to step up, bring more energy
Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson is none too pleased with his new wide receiver’s uninspired play to start the 2017 season.
Browns receiver Kenny Britt told reporters Thursday that Jackson challenged him in a “man-to-man” talk to step up and bring more energy, per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.
#Browns WR Kenny Britt said Hue talked to him man to man about stepping up, bringing more energy on and off field, he's up to any challenge.

The 29-year-old Britt, who signed a four-year deal with the Browns in March, has severely underperformed through the first two games of the season with just two receptions for 15 yards. It’s not like the quality of the team is entirely to blame either as Britt had 1,000 yards receiving for the 4-12 Rams last year.
Britt is known to be a rather volatile personality, but the Browns need him now more than ever with Corey Coleman on injured reserve with a broken hand. Hopefully, a swift kick in the butt from his head coach does the trick.
