The New York Jets released linebacker I.K. Enemkpali on Tuesday after he sucker-punched Geno Smith in the face and broke Smith’s jaw. Smith is expected to miss 6-10 weeks after he undergoes surgery.
Naturally, someone hopped on Enemkpali’s Wikipedia page immediately and made the appropriate updates.

Fans in New York — especially the ones at a recent Yankees game — have not been kind to Smith over the last two years. But regardless of how bad he has been on the field, you never want to see a player get hurt — especially as a result of a childish situation that was completely avoidable. Jets head coach Todd Bowles has to be furious.
