Jacoby Brissett suffers knee injury against Steelers
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett suffered an apparent knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he was forced to leave the field.
Brissett’s knee bent awkwardly after Colts offensive lineman Quenton Nelson hit the quarterback’s left knee knee while blocking. Brissett grabbed at his knee and appeared to be in serious pain, but he was able to jog off under his own power.

Veteran backup Brian Hoyer replaced Brissett and threw a touchdown pass to tight end Jack Doyle to give the Colts an early 10-0 lead, but obviously the big concern is the severity f Brissett’s injury.
Brissett has played surprisingly well this season in the wake of Andrew Luck’s abrupt retirement. The former New England Patriots backup has completed nearly 65 percent of his passes and has 14 touchdowns compared to just three interceptions.
